8 Justice Society Members We Want In ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Season 2

3:  Courtney Whitmore a.k.a. Stargirl

One of my favorite Justice Society characters in the Smallville: Absolute Justice two-parter was Courtney Whitmore a.k.a. Stargirl who was created by Johns and is based on his sister Courtney who sadly died in the explosion of the TWA Flights 800 back in 1996. Her connection within the Justice Society is through her stepfather Pat Dugan who was Stripesy, sidekick to Sylvester Pemberton a.k.a. the 1^st Star-Spangled Kid. This would be another one of those “new generation” members as well as be one more female character to introduce who could maybe later on go on to Supergirl which will be going to The CW this fall. Courtney has always been a fun character both in the comics and in the media to me rather than someone like Pemberton. I also like the idea of seeing more teenagers/young adults superheroes come to life and someone like Courtney would be cool to see again in live-action. In addition, it wouldn’t be too difficult or expensive to portray her powers which come heavily from the Cosmic Staff.
