Aaron Taylor-Johnson Joins ‘Kick-Ass’ Director’s ‘Kingsman’ Prequel

Aaron Taylor-Johnson will reportedly reunite with Kick-Ass director Matthew Vaugh on the upcoming Kingsman prequel film.

Since 2010, Aaron Taylor-Johnson has racked-up some interesting properties on his filmography. After starring in Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass, Aaron Taylor-Johnson reprised the titular vigilante role in the 2013 sequel, before starring as the lead human character in the 2014 monster film Godzilla. The following year, the actor joined the cast of Avengers: Age of Ultron as the speedster mutant Quicksilver, who met a heroic end during the film’s final act.

According to a new report from UK journalist Baz Bamigboye on Twitter, Aaron-Taylor Johnson will now star in another comic book adaptation from Kick-Ass director Matthew Vaughn. Apparently, the actor will play a role in the upcoming Kingsman prequel titled The Great Game, alongside a few other comic book movie veterans. Check out the full report in the post below.

Matthew Vaughn’s The Great Game will be a prequel to the previous two films that he directed, 2014’s Kingsman: The Secret Service and 2017’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Before fans reunite with Taron Egerton’s Eggsy on the big screen, they will be introduced to a new cast of character’s in this year’s prequel to the Kingsman franchise.
