‘Avengers’ Concept Art Shows Aaron Taylor-Johnson With Comic-Accurate Quicksilver Look

A comic-accurate look for Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Quicksilver can be seen in this brand new concept art from Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Back in 2015, Avengers: Age of Ultron introduced audiences to Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Quicksilver, a speedster who reluctantly joins Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to destroy the evil Ultron. One of the biggest complaints from Avengers: Age of Ultron was that Taylor-Johnson’s Quicksilver didn’t get much time to shine considering he died at the end of the film. While his character was well-received and his dynamic with his sister Scarlet Witch was one of the film’s highlights, fans certainly would have loved to have seen Quicksilver fight in the final Endgame battle against Thanos.

And while we may not see Aaron Taylor-Johnson return to the role because of Quicksilver’s untimely death, there is some brand new concept art of the character showing off a comic-accurate look. The concept art comes from artist Andy Park, Marvel Studios’ Director of Visual Development.

One of the key highlights from this Quicksilver concept art is that Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s hair is silver, just like how it is in the comics! In fact, even the X-Men’s Quicksilver rocked the iconic silver hair. While the Avengers character’s suit isn’t perfectly on point, it does mimic the silver streaks seen in the comic books. Seeing as we only had Taylor-Johnson’s Quicksilver for such a short amount of time, it would have been nice to have had this version of the character on the big screen to make his farewell at the more noteworthy.
