The 91st Academy Awards ceremony took place last night, February 24th. The exciting event was held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California. Unlike previous years, this year’s Academy Awards opted for a hostless show after former host Kevin Hart dropped out due to the resurfacing of controversial Tweets from the comedian.
The evening’s most intriguing Academy Awards Best Picture nominee Black Panther, won multiple awards during the ceremony. This means that ten years after the first MCU film Iron Man earned an Oscar nomination, Marvel Studios finally took home their first victory at the prestigious Academy Awards show.
