Coming off of the highly successful musical, Hamilton, Diggs has garnered praise for his immense talent on the stage in playing both Thomas Jefferson and Marquis De Lafayette. His role in Hamilton even earned him a Tony Award. With being a stage actor you have to exert energy to be as big as possible and I think his take on Lando could encapsulate that energy to bring something different to the role.
