Adam Driver’s Ben Solo Faces New Jedi In ‘Star Wars’ Comic Book Preview

Adam Driver’s Ben Solo takes on some new Jedi in a preview for Marvel’s Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren comic book.

Marvel’s upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren will tell the story of how Adam Driver’s Ben Solo turned to the dark side prior to the events of The Force Awakens. The upcoming comic book series is written by Charles Soule, who is responsible for some of the best canon Star Wars comic books to date with Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith and Lando.

StarWars.com released a special preview for The Rise of Kylo Ren before the first issue hits stores next week. In the preview, we see Adam Driver’s Ben Solo after he destroyed Luke Skywalker’s temple. We then see a group of new Jedi confront Adam Driver’s Ben Solo. Adam Driver is set to reprise his role as Kylo Ren in The Rise of Skywalker:

Lucasfilm and director J. J. Abrams join forces once again to take viewers on an epic journey to a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the riveting conclusion of the seminal Skywalker saga, where new legends will be born and the final battle for freedom is yet to come.

Directed by J. J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Naomi Ackie, Dominic Monaghan, Richard E. Grant, Keri Russell, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Ian McDiarmid, and Billy Dee Williams. Carrie Fisher will appear as General Leia Organa through the use of previously unreleased footage shot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be released in theaters on December 20, 2019.
