‘Star Wars’: Alternate Helmet Designs For Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren Revealed

A new batch of Star Wars concept art shows off a variety of alternate helmets for Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren with some interesting designs.

While Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren helmet was destroyed in his fit of rage during Star Wars: The Last Jedi, his iconic look was originally a little closer to Darth Vader’s style. The villain will once again be going up against Daisy Ridley’s Rey during The Rise of Skywalker, although it isn’t clear whether he’ll be the one the title refers to or not. This new batch of concept art shows off a variety of alternate helmets that Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren nearly wore. There’s obviously a heavy influence from Darth Vader here — which could signal his ultimate redemption in the same manner as Anakin during Return of the Jedi.

The concept art was posted by artist Christian Alzmann on Instagram, showing off several different styles of helmets that Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren nearly wore. Some of them look radically different whereas some are nearly too close to the original Darth Vader design. The first design would’ve made Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren look like he had no neck, whereas the bottom right helmet is nearly a Darth Vader replica. Take a look at the alternate helmets for Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren below.
