Messa don't think so!
On Monday, Lucasfilm revealed the cast of Obi-Wan Kenobi, which included some surprises like Kumail Nanjiani and Benny Safdie. The upcoming Disney Plus series will also see the return of several prequel stars like Joel Edgerton as Uncle Owen, Bonnie Piesse as Aunt Beru, and Hayden Christensen back as Darth Vader. Early last year, rumors floated around that Ahmed Best was also going to appear as a bearded Jar Jar Binks in the series.
Obi-Wan Kenobi notably went through some changes since its initial announcement, and Jar Jar Binks might’ve been in earlier versions of the story. Ahmed Best expressed his desire to return as Jar Jar before, but the actor shared on Twitter that he will not appear in Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Directed by Deborah Chow from Joby Harold’s scripts, the series stars Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.
