Star Wars Rebels co-creator Dave Filoni has confirmed that fan favorite character Ahsoka Tano will appear again in the show's upcoming fourth season.
At today’s “Animated Origins & Unexpected Fates” panel at Star Wars Celebration Orlando, Star Wars Rebels co-creator (and creator of Ahsoka Tano) Dave Filoni along with Lucasfilm’s Pablo Hidalgo were speaking about the character when Filoni revealed that we will be seeing her again in the show’s upcoming fourth season. He did not clarify, however, what state she would be in when we do see her again.
Filoni and Hidalgo also revealed that we will probably be seeing former Clone Troopers Gregor and Wolffe again in Season 4 as well. The troopers from Star Wars: The Clone Wars reappeared in the Season 2 Premiere alongside Captain Rex, who has since become a mainstay onboard the Ghost, but the two didn’t really stick around. It will be great to see them again, though. Filoni and Hidalgo also shared a slide featuring character design images of Rex in Rebel attire similar to the uniforms worn by Rebel soldiers on Endor in Return of the Jedi.
Expect to hear more Star Wars Rebels news as the weekend hits, as the official Rebels panel will take place on Saturday morning. And be sure to check back right here on Heroic Hollywood for all of our Star Wars and Star Wars Rebels coverage from this year’s Star Wars Celebration.
Star Wars Rebels will return for its fourth season this fall on Disney XD.
