Yesterday, Disney’s first Aladdin teaser offered audiences their first look at their latest live-action remake of an animated classic. While the preview only offered viewers a brief glimpse of the new world imagined by the creative team being led by director Guy Ritchie, it did reveal the first look at the live-action Cave of Wonders, which fans will remember as the forbidden realm that housed a number of rare treasures and magical objects, including the Genie’s lamp.

“Aladdin” is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future.
Directed by Guy Ritchie from a script he co-wrote with John August, the film stars Will Smith as the Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, Navid Negahban as the Sultan, Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders, and Numan Acar as Hakim.
Aladdin will be released in theatres on May 24, 2019.
