New Trailer For Disney’s ‘Aladdin’ Fixes Will Smith’s Genie Look

A brand new trailer for Disney’s live-action Aladdin movie is here and Will Smith’s blue Genie looks a whole lot better now.

Disney debuted a full-length trailer for Aladdin this morning, giving fans a fresh look at the upcoming live-action remake of its 1992 animated classic. Will Smith’s much-criticized Genie look is finally fixed in this sneak peek but there are also never-before-seen shots of other fan-favorites like Aladdin’s trusty sidekick Abu and the Magic Carpet.

Aladdin opens in theatres on May 24, 2019. Here’s the offficial synopsis:

A thrilling and vibrant live-action adaptation of Disney’s animated classic, “Aladdin” is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future.

Directed by Guy Ritchie from a script he co-wrote with John August, the film stars Will Smith as the Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, Navid Negahban as the Sultan, Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders, and Numan Acar as Hakim.
