‘Aladdin’ Fan Transforms Will Smith’s Genie Into ‘Avengers’ Villain Thanos

Reddit user StSpyro shared new Aladdin fan art that transformers Will Smith’s Genie into Avengers villain Thanos.

Earlier this week, Disney released a new special look at the live-action Aladdin remake and the preview included the first footage of Will Smith as the blue Genie. While fan reaction to this new version of the beloved character has been overwhelmingly negative, the internet has certainly had fun altering the photo at the expense of Will Smith’s jinn and the latest fan art transforms him into the Avengers villain Thanos, with Thor taking the place of Aladdin.

“Aladdin” is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future.

Directed by Guy Ritchie from a script he co-wrote with John August, the film stars Will Smith as the Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, Navid Negahban as the Sultan, Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders, and Numan Acar as Hakim.

Aladdin will be released in theatres on May 24, 2019.
