So much news regarding the upcoming streaming service Disney Plus has been revealed this evening, from new Marvel projects to Star Wars shows. Now, Disney has revealed that Alan Tudyk’s K-2SO will be returning for more adventures in a galaxy far, far away. Alan Tudyk voiced the hilarious droid K-2SO in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and the character was one of the film’s highlights due to Alan Tudyk’s charismatic voice work. Now, the famous droid will be joining Diego Luna on the upcoming Star Wars series for Disney Plus focusing on Cassian Andor.

Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna, was introduced in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as a Rebel Alliance intelligence officer that was in search of the Empire’s plans for a powerful weapon. Cassian Andor reprogrammed K-2SO and the both became closer towards the film’s end. K-2SO helped Cassian Andor and Jyn Erso along their journey and will be a great addition for the upcoming Disney Plus series. The Addition of Alan Tudyk will hopefully bring in a couple of laughs when he returns as K-2SO in the Disney Plus series focusing on the adventures of Cassian Andor.
