April 26 is also known as 'Alien' Day and Fox and Regal Cinemas have teamed up to bring the original 'Alien' back to theaters for a special one-night event.
Taking place on April 26 – a day known as Alien Day in honor of the name of the moon Ripley and co. first encountered Xenomorph eggs (LV-426) on – the event will bring Alien back to theaters just a few weeks before the next installment in the franchise, Alien: Covenant, releases.
Screening only at participating Regal RPX movie theaters, the event will not only include Alien but will also feature exclusive footage from Alien: Covenant. Moviegoers will also receive a one-of-a-kind commemorative ticket for the event.
Tickets for Fox’s Alien Day celebration go on sale tomorrow, Tuesday, April 18.

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, members (Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup) of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think to be an uncharted paradise. The mysterious world soon turns dark and dangerous when a hostile alien life-form forces the crew into a deadly fight for survival.

The film hits theaters May 19.
