Rumor: Two Live-Action ‘Alien’ Series In The Works For Hulu

A new rumor suggests two live-action Alien series are coming to Hulu from Ridley Scott.

Disney is set to acquire the Alien rights when the Fox merger closes later this year. The film franchise currently up in the air with Covenant‘s disappointing box office and reviews. Director Ridley Scott has talked about plans for a sequel titled, Awakening, but the film has no release date at this time. However, James Cameron did tease movement on the project from District 9 director Neil Blomkamp. The film is said to only be a sequel to the first two films in the vein of Halloween and Terminator: Dark Fate.

In December, the official social media page started shared cryptic possibly teasing franchise plans. HN Entertainment reports two live-action Alien series are in the works for Hulu. Ridley Scott is also set to executive produce the potential series.
