Check Out Some Alternate Logos For 'Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back'. 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' will be hitting theaters in December 2017.
If you’ve ever wondered what the Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back logo could have looked like as a work-in-progress, then look no further. Recently, a Star Wars collector named Gus Lopez posted a collection of alternate logo sketches by concept artist Ralph McQuarrie. McQuarrie eventually went with the well-known logo for Empire Strikes Back, but it’s pretty cool to see what he came up with beforehand.

The next Star Wars film to hit theaters will be The Last Jedi and it will be the next in the saga following Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The Last Jedi’s cast includes Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa, Daisy Ridley as Rey, John Boyega as Finn, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Lupita Nyong’o as Maz Kanata, Kelly Marie Tran as Rose Tico, Laura Dern as Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke, Domhnall Gleeson as General Armitage Hux, Benicio Del Toro as “DJ”, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, and Jimmy Vee as R2-D2.
Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi will be released in theaters on December 15, 2017.
