Amber Heard, who plays Mera in the DC Extended Universe, has posted an image of several comics for her Aquaman comic book research.
Looks like this research is more geared toward her appearance in Aquaman rather than Justice League, which is nearing the end of filming. Because of the specific issues Amber Heard’s reading, it appears that Rebirth will have some effect on the upcoming film. Amber Heard can be seen fully suited up as Mera in the most recent trailer for Justice League.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash — it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amber Heard as Mera, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielson as Queen Hippolyta and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon.
Justice League hits theaters on Friday, November 17th.
