‘Aquaman’: Amber Heard Reveals Stunning New Look At Mera In BTS Photo

Aquaman star Amber Heard recently took to social media to share a behind-the-scenes look at herself as the iconic DC Comics heroine Mera.

After her brief appearance as Mera in Justice League, Amber Heard reprised her role in the James Wan-directed Aquaman, managing to steal the show as she teamed up with Jason Momoa’s Arthur Curry in an effort to stop his half-brother King Orm, played by Patrick Wilson. Together, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman and Amber Heard’s Mera went on an adventure to find the Sacred Trident that belonged to Atlan, the King of Atlantis before the kingdom’s submergence. Luckily, Arthur and Mera found the Trident with enough time left to stop Orm from waging a war on the surface world.

Once the battle was over, Aquaman took his rightful place as King with Mera at his side. Now, Amber Heard has shared a new look at herself as Mera behind the scenes of Jason Momoa’s first cinematic solo outing as Aquaman, giving fans a closer look at the incredible wig she wore for her role as Mera in the record-breaking DC Comics film.
