This past November, Andrew Lincoln officially exited AMC’s The Walking Dead television series, but the actor is set to reprise his role as Rick Grimes in a trilogy of movies set in the post-apocalyptic world created by Robert Kirkman. Now, AMC has revealed that it has partnered with Universal to distribute the yet-to-be titled first entry in the trilogy.
Universal has dropped a short teaser trailer for Andrew Lincoln’s first The Walking Dead movie, which ends with the words “only in theaters.” You can check out the teaser below.
Andrew Lincoln’s first The Walking Dead movie does not yet have a release date. Meanwhile, AMC’s The Walking Dead is set to return for its tenth season on October 6, 2019.
