Andy Muschietti Seemingly Confirms He’s Directing Ezra Miller’s ‘The Flash’

It seems that IT director Andy Muschietti may have confirmed that he is, in fact, directing Ezra Miller’s The Flash film.

As we all know by now, Ezra Miller’s The Flash film has been in production turmoil seemingly since the film was first announced. Between Warner Bros. seemingly constantly changing just what The Flash film will actually be about, to shifting directors and Ezra Miller’s own creative disagreements with said directors, the film has perhaps seen more production problems than any other film in the DC Extended Universe.   To add on to the problems, it was reported last week that directors John Frances Daily and Jonathan Goldstein were no longer attached to the project with IT director Andy Muschietti in talks to replace them. But now it seems he may have confirmed that he is, in fact, working on Ezra Miller’s Flash film.

The apparent proof that Andy Muschietti is directing Ezra Miller’s The Flash is sadly a bit thin. A fan who follows the director on Instagram mentions that Andy Muschietti may have decided to work The Flash. The comment was apparently like by Andy Muschietti himself.

You can see the full Tweet detailing Andy Muschietti’s liked comment below:

Obviously, this does not confirm anything but, for the look of things, Andy Muschietti may be the one to direct Ezra Miller’s The Flash after all.

What do you all make of this? Would you like to see Andy Muschietti direct Ezra Miller’s The Flash? Does the film even stand a chance after all the behind the scenes issues? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Ezra Miller’s was last seen as The Flash in Justice League.

Directed by Zack Snyder, with post-production duties handled by Joss Whedon, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
