‘Ant-Man’ Director Peyton Reed Reacts To Disney Rehiring James Gunn

Ant-Man director Peyton Reed reacted to Disney reinstating James Gunn Gunn as the director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Last summer, Disney fired James Gunn as the director of Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3 after right-wing commentators unearthed offensive social media posts the filmmaker wrote years ago. Now, Disney has reinstated James Gunn as the director of the third Guardians of the Galaxy film and Ant-Man helmer Peyton Reed responded to the new by welcoming his fellow Marvel Studios filmmaker back.

You can check out Ant-Man director Peyton Reed’s comment in the post below!

James Gunn had completed his script for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and production was scheduled to begin early this year. However, the project was put on hold following the decision to remove Gunn as the director of the final chapter in the trilogy, though Disney and Marvel Studios reportedly intended to use his script. Now, production on the third Guardians film will begin after James Gunn directs The Suicide Squad for Warner Bros.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is expected to star Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, and Sean Gunn.

Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest updates on the Marvel Studios film as it develops!
