J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode IX filming is near completion and fans are getting anxious for some news. The Skywalker Saga finale has been filming since August and the film remains in J.J. Abrams’ mystery box. Fans are anticipating a title for the film soon due to recent history. The Force Awakens title was revealed in November 2014 and Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi was released in January 2018.
Franchise veteran Anthony Daniels started teasing fans on Tuesday, with many in the community jumping to the conclusion a title or trailer drop was imminent. Fans were ultimately let down on Tuesday when there was no announcement during Disney’s latest earnings call, which many believed the C-3PO actor was teasing.
Well, Anthony Daniels has started trolling fans on Twitter again and hints his teases aren’t a title or trailer related:
