Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson is making way to the small screen with The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, which features his character coming to terms with the responsibility of being the new Captain America, as well as bringing justice to Baron Zemo. Filming for Anthony Mackie’s Marvel series has commenced and based on photos from the set of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, X-Men fans are in for a treat.
It appears that Anthony Mackie’s Falcon will be making his way to Madripoor, an iconic island that has been heavily featured in X-Men comic books. Madripoor was inspired by Singapore, and has been a key location in many X-Men comics. In fact, X-Men character Mystique once attempted to make Madripoor a mutant utopia. Madripoor being officially introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe means that this is our first instance of integration between the Fox and Marvel properties.
