‘Aquaman’ Star Amber Heard Claims Johnny Depp Is Lying In Defamation Case

Aquaman star Amber Heard has accused Johnny Deep of lying to the court in their current million dollar defamation case.

Aquaman‘s Amber Heard and Fantastic Beasts‘ Johnny Depp are currently in a defamation case. This case follows Amber Heard’s accusations of abuse from ex-husband Johnny Depp. However, Johnny Depp has denied the accusations and has sued Amber Heard for defamation.

The alleged incident goes back to May 21, 2016, when 911 calls were made. Johnny Depp’s team turned in video surveillance footage with the actor leaving their home at 8:30 PM. Johnny Depp also claimed Amber Heard’s friend waited an hour and a half to call, but he testified in court that he actually called 911 after Amber Heard screamed during a fight. However, Amber Heard’s records say two calls were made regarding an assault that night, one at 8:30 PM and another at 10:09 PM. The Blast has now obtained legal documents with Amber Heard saying Johnny Depp:

“Clearly perjured himself claiming that there was only one 911 call reporting his abuse on the evening of May 21, 2016. ”

With the new findings, Amber Heard hopes Johnny Depp is:

“Held responsible for submitting provably false and misleading, and in any event, irrelevant statements in his declaration. These signal an intention by Mr. Depp to litigate in the court of public opinion. The true impetus of this lawsuit is not the alleged defamation but that three years after the fact, Mr. Depp found ‘new evidence’ he wanted to present to a court some 3,000 miles from where any evidence or witnesses are found.”

Another record from Amber Heard shows that the LAPD met with her and Johnny Depp and verified a verbal dispute. Jonny Depp’s team has pointed out LAPD statements that say there was no sign of physical abuse done to Amber Heard.

Johnny Depp’s attorney Adam Waldman said the following in response to Amber Heard’s claim:

“Ms. Heard says she ‘will not be silenced,’ and then remains silent for months as her hoax is buried by the avalanche of evidence.” He adds, “As for her hoax-assisting friends, willing to perjure themselves for her 3 years ago ― where are they now? Ms. Heard continues to defraud her abused hoax victim Mr. Depp, the #metoo movement she masquerades as the leader of, and other real abuse victims worldwide.”
