Unused ‘Aquaman’ Concept Art Shows Battle In Sydney With Ben Affleck’s Batman

Ben Affleck’s Batman assists Aquaman as Atlantis attacks Sydney in never before seen concept art from the James Wan film.

The final act of Aquaman was one of the biggest spectacles ever put together in a comic book film. The massive underwater battle pitted Jason Momoa’s Aquaman against Orm. Never before seen concept art shared by The Aquaverse reveals what might have been an early idea for the final battle. This version imagines Atlantis taking over Sydney.

One of the other pieces of art shows Ben Affleck’s Batman assisting Aquaman during the invasion. The Aquaman that came out in theaters didn’t feature other DC heroes and only a reference to the events in Justice League. However, it seems at one point, the filmmakers thought about including more heroes like Ben Affleck’s Batman in the early stages of development. You can check out the unused concept art below:
