‘Aquaman’ Star Wants To Play Booker T In Chris Hemsworth Hulk Hogan Biopic

It seems that news of Chris Hemsworth upcoming Hulk Hogan biopic even has people at DC excited, as Aquaman star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II apparently wants to play wrestler Booker T.

The Aquaman star took to Twitter upon seeing the news that Chris Hemsworth would be playing Hulk Hogan. In a response to the news, he asked if he was playing Booker T:

From the look of things, the Aquaman actor just might be a fan of Booker T.

Booker T, of course, is a former professional wrestler, having spent time in three different wrestling organizations and is the most decorated wrestler in history, having held 21 titles in his carrier. Booker T and Hulk Hogan had several matches together and has even gone so far to say that people should forgive him for his controversial remarks. How this may play into the film, however, is unknown.

What do you all think of this? Would you like to see Hahya Abdul-Mateen II play Booker T in the Chris Hemsworth Hulk Hogan film? Is the Aquaman actor not up for the film? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

The untitled Hulk Hogan biopic will be directed by Todd Philips of The Hangover fame from a script by Scott Silver (The Fighter). It will be Phillips’s next project once he finishes up with The Joker standalone flick starring Joaquin Phoenix.

Here is a plot synopsis for Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s latest film, Aquaman:

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an acition-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.
