There is a lot about the technical side of Aquaman that is incredibly impressive. The only thing more mind-blowing than the digital effects in the film are the practical effects. Director James Wan and his crew utilized both fantastic digital effects and physical props, costumes, etc. to bring the world of Aquaman to life. One of the many impressive costumes in the film is, of course, the iconic green and orange costume that the hero wore in the comics.
A new behind-the-scenes image from Aquaman was recently revealed in an Instagram post and it shows Momoa wearing the incredible armor surrounded by blue screen, which aids the post-production process. Check out the image from the film’s set in the post below.
Aquaman has been king of the box office since it opened in theaters in early December. It got a head start at the international box office by opening in a few territories prior to its release in the United States. Today it passed another milestone by becoming the highest grossing film in the DC Extended Universe to date.
