New Aquaman concept art reveals a look at how the Trench sequence was imagined in the pre-production stage.

Aquaman centered on Arthur Curry and Mera quest to find King Atlan’s Trident so the titular hero could ascend to the throne of Atlantis and halt an invasion of the surface spearheaded by his half-brother King Orm. The duo encountered numerous threats along the way and the terrifying Trench were among those impeding their mission. Now, new concept art offers fans a look at how the Trench attack was conceived before being realized on screen.
