‘Aquaman’ Director James Wan Gushes About ‘Wonder Woman’

There’s nothing like other directors showing support for Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman. Especially if one of these directors is Aquaman’s James Wan. Fellow DCEU directors showing love to each other is a great thing and James Wan took to Twitter to show some love for the film. Even better, the entire Aquaman cast and crew got to see the film together after renting out an entire theater, according to Wan.

You can check out what he had to say via two tweets below.

“AQ prod rented out a whole theatre for WW & invited crew. What a magnificent film! @GalGadot @PattyJenks you’re an inspiration #WonderWomen” Oh, and Chris Pine is full of charm and charisma. What great chemistry with @GalGadot.”

Gal Gadot responded in kind, thanking Wan and saying that she “can’t wait for Aquaman!!!”

Here’s the official synopsis for Wonder Woman:

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers… and her true destiny.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner and Saïd Taghmaoui.

The film is currently playing in theaters.
