‘Aquaman’ Fan Event Global Tour Announced By Warner Bros.

Director James Wan and select members of the Aquaman cast will bring exciting events to fans across the world.

DC’s Aquaman is releasing in a pretty crowded time at the box office but given the response to its trailers, the movie seems to be winning folks over with its incredible spectacle and vibrant color palette. To get fans even more pumped for the DC solo adventure, Warner Bros. has announced a special global tour for the film that includes live-streaming events, as well as some footage being screened with director James Wan and cast members, including Jason Momoa and Amber Heard, in attendance.

The Aquaman global event will begin in Beijing on November 18th and conclude in Hawaii on the day of the film’s release for a special screening event. There aren’t too many specifics at the moment as to what the other activities will be outside of the early footage. If you want to see if your city is part of the tour, check out the schedule below.

November 18 — Beijing: Film Footage Screening and Fan Event

November 26 — London: Live Stream World Premiere

December 1 — New York City: Fan Event

December 11 — Manila: Asian Premiere and Fan Event

December 12 — Los Angeles: Live Stream U.S. Premiere

Fans have three very different DC films to look forward to over the course of the next year. Sadly, Wonder Woman 1984 was pushed back to June of 2020 but after Aquaman arrives with all of its fantastic spectacle this December, the light-hearted superhero origin tale Shazam! hits theaters in April before the presumably darker villain origin story Joker arrives in October.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Aquaman as soon as more information becomes available. Will you be attending any of the events listed above? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an acition-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.

Aquaman opens in theaters on December 21, 2018.
