As you would imagine, the locations are beautiful. Featuring clear blue water and tropical landscapes, any of these locations could be used wonderfully in the Aquaman film. As ScreenRant points out, the second photo is from Indonesia while the third is Hawaii. While this could just mean Wan is creating his own groups of fictional Islands for Aquaman, it could also be a sign that The King of the Seven Seas will go on a bit of a globetrotting adventure. Check out the images below.
Following Justice League, Mamoa will reprise his role as Arthur “Orin” Curry in a standalone feature. The Warner Bros. film will be the fifth installment to the DC Extended Universe.
Aquaman also stars Amber Heard as Mera, Queen of Atlantis, Patrick Wilson as Aquaman’s villainous half-brother Orm Marius aka Ocean Master, Temuera Morrison as Aquaman’s father Thomas Curry, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta. Plot details are still unavailable as an official synopsis has yet to be released, however, a possible synopsis was recently revealed.
“Aquaman” will center on Aquaman as a reluctant ruler of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis who is caught between land dwellers that are always polluting the globe and his own people who are ready to invade the surface.
