With Aquaman receiving high praise from critics and fans alike, the release date for its home media versions must be on the mind of fans worldwide. Well, the wait is finally over for those of you who loved James Wan’s film and wanted to own it. News broke today that Aquaman will be released via digital download on March 5th and on Blu-ray and DVD on March 26th.
A few weeks ago Aquaman surpassed Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Wonder Woman as the top-grossing DCEU film with a $1.1 billion global gross. The film is still making money for DC, so we’re waiting for those numbers to increase even further before it ends its box office run.
Although not officially announced yet, a second Aquaman film is more than a mere possibility thanks to James Wan’s excellent directing skills, Jason Momoa’s portrayal of Arthur Curry and the beautiful underwater world built by everyone involved in the first film.
