‘Aquaman’: James Wan Responds To Hilarious Easter Egg Discovery

Aquaman director James Wan responded to a fan who revealed a great blink-and-you’ll-miss-it gag featured in the movie.

Aquaman is a big movie with a lot going on in it. Not just on a story and character level but on a visual level as well. At times, the screen is so jam-packed with fantastic imagery that it’s hard to catch every incredible detail during the first viewing of the film. A fan on social media revealed one of these great moments to fans who may have missed it.

It’s a moment in the film in which Atlanteans are admiring the pros and cons of King Orm (Patrick Wilson) and Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) before the half-brothers duel in the Ring of Fire. The fan pointed out some of the hilarious stats for each character and director James Wan even replied and quoted a particular sentence in the image that made him laugh. Comic book movies are known for their hidden Easter eggs and references to the source material, which Aquaman had no shortage of. Given how new this movie is, there are most likely more Easter eggs to dive in and discover in the future. Movies like Batman v Superman, as well as various Marvel Cinematic Universe films, still have hidden secrets that fans uncover years after they’re released.
