As part of his effort to raise awareness about how plastics are harming the planet, Aquaman star Jason Momoa shaved his beard for the first time since 2012. Jason Momoa recorded the shaving of his beard and shared the video his official YouTube account with the following description:
“Goodbye DROGO, AQUAMAN, DECLAN, BABA! I’m shaving this beast off, it’s time to make a change. A change for the better…for my kids, for your kids, the world. Let’s make a positive change for the health of our planet. Let’s clean up our oceans and our land. Join me on this journey. Let’s make a switch to INFINITELY RECYCLABLE aluminum. Water in cans, NOT plastic.”
Of course, fans are sorely missing Jason Momoa’s facial hair as they have become accustomed to seeing the actor with facial hair for roles in Aquaman, Game of Thrones, and more!
