‘Aquaman’ Star Jason Momoa Visits Warner Bros. Lot; Teases We Have No Idea What’s Coming

On his official Instagram account, Aquaman star Jason Momoa hinted at future plans during a visit to the Warner Bros. lot.

Warner Bros. Aquaman set new box office records for the studio and even surpassed The Dark Knight Rises to become their highest-grossing DC film to date. Now, lead star Jason Momoa teased future plans for the Aquaman franchise in a series of videos on his Instagram Stories feed. While the videos offer no details on what was discussed, they conclude with an enthusiastic Jason Momoa racing down the hall and out of the building before telling fans, “You got no idea what’s coming!”

As of now, all that is known about the studio’s plans for the Aquaman franchise is that writer David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick will return to pen the sequel and a spin-off titled The Trench is in development.

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an acition-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.

Directed by James Wan, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm / Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Ludi Lin as Captain Murk, and Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry.

Aquaman is now playing in theaters!
