Forbes is estimating that the film could go north of $900 million and even have a gross upwards of $1 billion. The estimate is more of an educated guess, but this shouldn’t come as a shock as the film has already made $500 million globally and is expected to hit $700 million before the new year begins. That being said Aquaman could be the second DC franchise to hit the billion dollar mark at the Box Office with The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises both grossing over $1B.
What do you guys think? Will Aquaman join the billion dollar club or will it ultimately fall short? Sound off in the comments section below.
