New ‘Aquaman’ Still Shows Off Final Battle With Ocean Master

Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) takes aim at Orm (Patrick Wilson), aka Ocean Master, in this image from Aquaman‘s finale. Spoilers for Aquaman below.

Aquaman is jam-packed with action, drama, humor, characters, globe-trotting adventure, and at the center of it all is Arthur’s clash with his half-brother Orm. As the two characters to go forth on their journey through the film they eventually clash in the film’s finale but they are no longer simply Arthur and Orm. The clash in the final act shows Arthur in full Aquaman armor and Orm in his iconic Ocean Master costume.

The two clashed earlier in the film but this spectacular showdown atop a ship in the rain is iconic for quite a few reasons. One of the final moments of the fight has appeared on Twitter and it shows just how grand and iconic the film is able to transform a simple duel between two brothers. Check out the image in the post below to relive the incredible fight.

The idea of blood being thicker than water is something that resonates with quite a few characters and story elements throughout the entirety of Aquaman. Despite all of the large-scale action with monsters and Atlantean warriors, the heart of Aquaman resides in many of the characters trying to make sure the legacy of their loved ones, most notably their parents, stays alive and well. This is the case for Aquaman, Ocean Master, and Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). The image above perfectly showcases the dynamic between the two characters and is sure to make a great desktop screensaver for fans of the film.
