New ‘Aquaman’ Promo Art Spotlights Heroes & Creatures Of Atlantis

Some brand new promo art for Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Films’ highly-anticipated new movie Aquaman directed by James Wan has surfaced the internet. In particular, we have three pieces of artwork that add quite a bit more color to the exciting undersea world of Atlantis, highlighting the heroes, villains and some of the scarier creatures from the trench.

You can take a look at some of the new promotional art down below, which includes characters such as our titular hero Arthur Curry, heroine Mera, Arthur’s half-brother King Orm and his archnemesis Black Manta:

The promo art that features Aquaman in his iconic orange and green suit also showcases some of the exciting creature designs that are ripped straight from the comics, particularly from the beloved New 52 version of the character. From this artwork and the brief footage we’ve seen of them from the trailers and TV spots, it sure looks like James Wan is injecting a bit of his horror element into an otherwise fun and swashbuckling comic book film.
