According to the Wrap, Aquaman co-writer, David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, will be returning to pen the sequel for DC. Johnson-McGoldrick wrote the first film alongside Will Beall with a story from Beall, Geoff Johns, and James Wan. As of right now, James Wan has not signed on to direct the sequel but has, at the very least, signed on to a producer role.
David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick other credits include The Walking Dead, Orphan, and The Conjuring 2.
