Patrick Wilson has shared an important message from Atlantis while on set of the new Aquaman film being directed by James Wan.
Wilson is playing Orm, aka Ocean Master in Wan’s upcoming swashbuckling action adventure. In the comics, Ocean Master was a fully human half-brother of Aquaman who turned nemesis after growing up in Arthur’s shadow.
The actor took a moment out of his busy schedule recently to help bring awareness to the importance of keeping our oceans clean, retweeting a tweet from World Oceans Day, an organization committed to providing unique opportunities to honor, help protect, and conserve the world’s oceans, per their website.
You can check out Wilson’s tweet below and learn more about how to get involved with World Oceans Day.
The film stars Jason Momoa as the titular King of Atlantis, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm a.k.a. Ocean Master, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, Ludi Lin as Murk, with Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna and Temuera Morrison as Arthur’s father.
Aquaman hits theaters on December 21, 2018. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Aquaman and other DC Extended Universe projects!
