‘Aquaman’: New Information On Xebelian Weapon And King Nereus Revealed

A new look inside Arthur’s Guide to Atlantis teases an underwater location from the comics that will be featured in the upcoming Aquaman movie.

Xebel is a location from the Aquaman comics that is one part of the vast underwater locations that make up the kingdom of Atlantis. If you’re one of the excited fans who has purchased Arthur’s Guide to Atlantis, a guidebook that provides information on the world and characters of Aquaman, then you can take a look at an awesome Xebellian weapon and some other interesting info regarding the location Xebel.

The guidebook features the information through the words of a young Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa), who eventually becomes the iconic DC hero Aquaman. Check out the photos below to see some of the information regarding Xebel’s role in the film, particularly its relation to King Nereus (Dolph Lundgren). Not only that, but fans can also get a glimpse at a weapon called a “Xebellian polearm”.

King Nereus hasn’t had very much screen time in the trailers for Aquaman but his daughter Mera (Amber Heard) is going to be playing an important role alongside Arthur Curry in the film. Given that Dolph Lundgren doesn’t appear in too many blockbuster films, especially nowadays, it’s nice to see him appearing in two of this holiday season’s biggest movies in any capacity. Not only will Lundgren be appearing in Aquaman as King Nereus, but he will also be reprising his iconic role of Ivan Drago in the upcoming sequel Creed II.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Aquaman as soon as more information becomes available. What are your thoughts on the new insight into Xebel and King Nereus? What excites you the most about DC’s latest solo adventure? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
