‘Justice League: Mortal’ Concept Art Reveals Early Batman Suit For Armie Hammer

A new piece of concept art from George Miller’s Justice League: Mortal shows off an early design for Armie Hammer’s Batman suit.

While it’s disappointing that fans will never get to see the full vision that George Miller had for Justice League: Mortal, the concept art from the project at least reveals a fascinating insight into the film. The latest artwork from Justice League: Mortal reveals what Armie Hammer’s Batman could have looked like in the film. And while previous pieces of concept art showed a radically different Batman suit, the latest look is a little more traditional.

The look at Armie Hammer’s Batman suit comes from Instagram user “itsryanunicomb,” who credits the Weta Workshop with the design. Perhaps it’s the brighter blue design of Batman’s cape, cowl and gloves but it feels like a darker version of the Adam West costume. The design seemingly doesn’t feature any external armor over the top of the suit or integrated into the look like previous concepts teased. Take a look at an early design for Armie Hammer’s Batman suit in Justice League: Mortal below.

What do you think about the early design for Armie Hammer’s Batman? Do you wish we’d got to see Justice League: Mortal with Armie Hammer’s Batman? Soun- off in the comments below!

As far as film adaptations go, Batman will next appear in the Matt Reeves movie The Batman, with Robert Pattinson playing Bruce Wayne. An alternate version of Bruce Wayne appeared in Joker, portrayed by child actor Dante Pereira-Olson.

In addition to Armie Hammer as Batman, Justice League: Mortal would have also featured D.J. Cotrona as Superman, Megan Gale as Wonder Woman, Common as Green Lantern, Santiago Cabrera as Aquaman, Adam Brody as The Flash, Hugh Keays-Byrne as Martian Manhunter, Jay Baruchel as Maxwell Lord and Teresa Palmer as Talia Al Ghul. Late Star Trek actor Anton Yelchin was also on board as Wally West.
