Back in 2007, Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller ready to begin directing his own Justice League film titled Justice League Mortal when the film was canceled last minute. The project itself made it all the way through pre-production before it was scrapped by Warner Bros. just before photography was set to commence.
Armie Hammer himself was set to star as the Caped Crusader in the film along with Common as John Stewart aka Green Lantern, Santiago Cabrera (Heroes) as Aquaman, D.J. Cotrona as Superman, Megan Gale as Wonder Woman, Jay Baruchel as Maxwell Lord, Teresa Palmer as Talia Al Ghul, Adam Brody as The Flash, and Hugh Keays-Byrne as Martian Manhunter.
The images below feature both a take on a rather tactical look for Armie Hammer’s Caped Crusader, as well as a more familiar look for his Batman. You can check them out below!
Unfortunately for Armie Hammer, the actor did not get his chance to play the Dark Knight on the big screen, however, he has emerged as the fan favorite pick to replace Ben Affleck who exited the role in the DCEU. Plot details have yet to be revealed, however, Matt Reeves’ project will feature a younger actor taking on the role of Batman in the film.
So what do you think of these Batsuit designs for Armie Hammer’s Batman from Justice League Mortal? Do you hope Armie Hammer will get his chance to play Batman in the future? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
