Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ Gets An Official Runtime

The British Board of Film Classification has revealed the official runtime for Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator: Dark Fate.

Nearly three decades after the release of Terminator: Judgement Day, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton will reprise their iconic roles for a new entry in the franchise subtitled Dark Fate. Set after the events of the first two Terminator films, the new chapter will disregard all subsequent installments in the series and is said to see Arnold Schwarzenegger pass the torch to the next generation of characters.

The details on Terminator: Dark Fate are limited to what has been seen trailers for the film, but the British Board of Film Classification has revealed that the Arnold Schwarzenegger film will have a runtime of 128 minutes and 3 seconds.

At two hours and 8 minutes, the runtime for Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator: Dark Fate places it behind Judgement Day’s 137 duration. However, Terminator: Dark Fate will run longer than Arnold Schwarzenegger’s debut as the cyborg, which was 107 minutes long.

Here’s the official synopsis for Terminator: Dark Fate:

Linda Hamilton (“Sarah Connor”) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (“T-800”) return in their iconic roles in Terminator: Dark Fate, directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by visionary filmmaker James Cameron and David Ellison. Following the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator: Dark Fate also stars Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna and Diego Boneta.

Directed by Tim Miller from a script co-written by David Goyer, Justin Rhodes, and Billy Ray, Terminator: Dark Fate stars Linda Hamilton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta.

Terminator: Dark Fate will be released in theaters on November 1, 2019. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Arnold Schwarzenegger and the future of the Terminator franchise!
