‘Arrow’ 4.20 “Genesis” Synopsis

While we are currently on another mini-hiatus for CW’s Arrow, that will be the final mini-break as the show returns on April 27th to pick up with the aftermath of the major death that took place in “Eleven-Fifty Nine”. The CW has released the official description for the 20th episode which will air on May 4 titled “Genesis”.

Will it have anything to do with New Genesis from DC Comics or anything from the DC Universe? Probably not, but hopefully this will be when we learn what HIVE’s and Damien Darhk’s Genesis is all about in this episode. It also looks that Diggle will be continuing to be on his vengeance path as he goes after his little brother, Andy Diggle, who was part of causing that death in last week’s episode. You can check out the official description below and be aware of some possible spoilers.

“DIGGLE IS CONSUMED WITH GUILT AND SEEKS REVENGE – As Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) look for a magical solution to defeat Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough), a vengeance-driven Diggle (David Ramsey) gets a lead on Andy’s (guest star Eugene Byrd) whereabouts and heads off to confront his brother. Meanwhile, Alex (guest star Parker Young) takes Thea (Willa Holland) on a vacation that quickly turns into a nightmare. Gregory Smith directed the episode written by Oscar Balderrama & Emilio Ortega Aldrich (#420). Original airdate 5/4/2016.”

Arrow returns next week with the 19th episode of the season titled “Canary Cry” on Wednesday, April 27th, at 8/7c on The CW.
