‘Arrow’ Assembles New Recruits In New Season 5 Episode 2 Photos

In less than a week, Arrow will be kicking off its fifth season. Set for some changes because of The Flash’s Flashpoint arc, Arrow looks to be backpedaling and getting back to basics, but don’t worry, they won’t be forgetting what’s already happened up to this point.

Recently, a new preview has revealed that Diggle, personally one of my favorite characters on the show, has a new helmet. Oliver will be busy with his Green Arrow duties, as well as his duties as mayor of Star City.

The second episode of season five, titled “The Recruits”, see Oliver assemble and train a new team of superheroes. The new images include first looks at Wild Dog and Evelyn Sharp, who masqueraded as Black Canary last season but who will now go by Artemis. Curtis, who was introduced last season and is the future Mr. Terrific, will also be training with Oliver.

The preview images look intense and include interaction between Thea and Felicity.

SUIT UP — Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) new recruits for Team Arrow are Curtis (Echo Kellum), Wild Dog (guest star Rick Gonzalez) and Evelyn Sharp (guest star Madison McLaughlin). Unfortunately, the Green Arrow’s training methods prove to be too much for some of them to handle. Meanwhile, in the flashbacks, Oliver’s initiation into the Bratva continues. James Bamford directed the episode written by Speed Weed & Beth Schwartz (#502).  Original airdate 10/12/2016.
