‘Arrow’: Caity Lotz Set To Lead ‘Birds Of Prey’ Team-Up In New Episode

Caity Lotz is heading to The CW’s Arrow for a new Birds of Prey inspired episode.

Last December, fans of The CW’s Arrowverse were treated to the year’s crossover event. The exciting crossover, titled Elseworlds, featured the titular heroes of The CW’s Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl teaming up to take down a nefarious foe who has taken hold of the timeline. The one Arrowverse series exempt from the crossover’s line-up was Legends of Tomorrow. The CW team-up series returns with new episodes this April but before then, fans will be able to see one of the series’ leads, Caity Lotz, in a very different kind of a team-up.

According to a report from TV Line, Legends of Tomorrow‘s Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) will appear in an upcoming episode of Arrow, season seven episode eighteen, alongside fellow Arrowverse vigilante, Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy Rodgers). This is what Arrow showrunner had to tell TV Line about the exciting Birds of Prey-inspired episode.

“We are doing a Birds of Prey-inspired episode, that Laurel (played by Katie Cassidy Rodgers) will be involved with.”

The Birds of Prey will also be featured in a big screen adaptation, though it won’t star the heroes of the Arrowverse. Instead, a new installment of the DC Extended Universe, titled Birds of Prey, will bring Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn into the iconic female-led team alongside characters such as the Huntress and Black Canary.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Caity Lotz’s upcoming return to The CW’s Arrow as soon as more information becomes available. Are you excited for Caity Lotz to return in the new episode? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
