‘Arrow’ Star Stephen Amell Shares Heartful Message On Emily Bett Rickards’ Exit

Stephen Amell posted a heartfelt message to Emily Bett Rickards after she announced her exit from The CW’s Arrow.

Over the weekend, Emily Bett Rickard announced she will not return for the final season of Arrow after having played Felicity Smoak since the series debuted in 2012. Now, Stephen Amell has posted a heartwarming message about his time working with Emily Bett Rickards as they begin filming her final episode of Arrow:

“August 3rd, 2012 is the most important day in the history of our show. It was the first day I worked with Emily. Her energy and the vibrancy she gave to Felicity Smoak is only surpassed by what she personally gave to me. She was a co-worker that became a best friend. So on the first day of our last episode together, I’d like everyone to know how deeply I appreciate the past seven years. EmBett… We wouldn’t be here without you.”

BIRDS OF PREY; CAITY LOTZ GUEST STARS – After being accused of murder and having her criminal past exposed, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) goes full Black Siren and teams up with an old criminal acquaintance, Shadow Thief (guest star Carmel Amit), to go on a crime spree around Star City. While Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) aims to bring Laurel in, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) refuses to give up on her friend and tries everything to get through to her, even summoning Sara Lance (guest star Caity Lotz) for help.
