‘Arrow’ EP Marc Guggenheim Reveals Episode 5.21 Title

Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim has revealed the episode title for the antepenultimate episode of season five.

Guggenheim shared the cover page from the script on Twitter this morning, revealing the episode title as “Honor Thy Fathers”. You can check it out below.

The title itself is a callback to the second episode of season one which shared the similar title “Honor Thy Father”.

It seems episode 5.21 may be the culmination of both the past and present events of the fifth season before things ramp up to the finale as Prometheus who has now been revealed as Star City district attorney Adrian Chase is actually (spoiler alert) Simon Morrison. Simon is the son of Justin Clayborne, the corrupt CEO of Clayborne Pharmaceuticals behind a tuberculosis outbreak in Lamb Valley who met his demise at the hands of the Arrow during his first year of crime fighting in Star(ling) City.

Last night’s episode also featured Talia as she (spoiler alert) revealed to Oliver that she is in cahoots with Prometheus to enact vengeance upon Oliver for murdering her father, Ra’s Al Ghul, back at the end of the third season.

Arrow continues next week with the episode “Breaking Point” in which Prometheus begins to break Oliver now that he has him captured. Here’s the official synopsis:

THE BREAKING POINT — Prometheus (Josh Segarra) goes to great lengths to break Oliver (Stephen Amell). Meanwhile, in the flashbacks, Anatoly (guest star David Nykl) becomes worried about Oliver’s increasingly violent tendencies, which come to a head in a brutal confrontation. Kevin Tancharoen directed the episode written by Brian Ford Sullivan & Emilio Ortega Aldrich (#517). Original airdate 3/22/2017.
