‘Arrow’ Episode Featuring Wil Traval As The Human Target Begins Production

In a recent announcement, it was confirmed that Jessica Jones star Wil Traval has been brought onto Arrow to play the one and only Human Target. The Human Target is a master of disguise, and the iteration Traval will be playing is Christopher Chance, first introduced to the DC comic lore back in December of 1972. The Human Target assumes the identity of their client in order to keep them safe from assassination attempts.

Marc Guggenheim has been known to Tweet new episode titles as they begin work on production, and episode 505 is no different. Guggenheim tweeted the title of the episode, Human Target, which is named after Wil Traval’s character. Check out the tweet from Guggenheim, below:

Wil Traval’s casting notice also confirms that Mayor Oliver Queen will actually be a client of the Human Target’s, in lieu of Diggle’s absence. Check out the notice, below:

Wil Traval plays well-renowned DC Comics character Christopher Chance, a.k.a. “Human Target,” in Episode #505: a professional bodyguard and master of disguise who assumes the identities of those targeted by assassins. His latest client: Mayor Oliver Queen.
